What do the Friends do?

The Friends hold various fundraisers throughout the year including the annual book sale, the Pumpkin Pageant and the ongoing sale in the library.

The Friends accept donations of gently used books, DVDs and CDs that can be used for their book sale. If you have items that you would like to donate, please see our guidelines for donating to the library.

Who can become a Friend?

Anyone interested in helping the Burlington Public Library can become a Friend! There are various opportunities throughout the year for volunteering. The Friends also meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 1:30 PM (excluding July and August).
If you would like more information, please email the Friends of the Library.
