Greetings Readers and Happy Winter!
While it may be difficult to get excited for cold weather and snow, we think you will easily enjoy checking out our wonderful winter programs! This looks to be our busiest season yet and the calendar is full of activities for all ages and interests.
For adults, we are very excited to be offering another book club as well as a Dungeons and Dragons program! The teens will have many opportunities to learn some new crafting skills as well as prepare for midterms during January’s Hogwart’s Study Sessions. The Children’s department will be introducing a new, yoga-based story time program as well as celebrating that rumbly, tumbly bear, Winnie the Pooh! You will definitely want to make room on your calendar for plenty of library visits.
While we come to a close on 2023 and prepare for yet another new year, I would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of our patrons. There are many things to love about working at the Burlington Public Library, but engaging with all of you is at the top of the list. Whether it be discussing books at the desk while you check out, seeing you at one of our programs, or working alongside our volunteers, all of us at the BPL appreciate the times that we share with all of you.
From all of us here at the library, I wish you all a happy and healthy holiday season and new year.
Please visit our online calendar to learn more about our upcoming programs and to register for events. As always, we look forward to seeing you at the library.
